This is St Hallett showing a cooler, more lifted side of its Shiraz mastery. From Eden Valleys higher ground, it opens with blackberry, black cherry and dark plum, then moves into violet, black pepper, graphite, clove, dried herbs and a little smoky cedar. It is still unmistakably South Australian, but this is the sleek, aromatic, Syrah styled
