Vintage Native American Indian Lidded Basket Curly Ash & Sweetgrass Woodland Tribe doulton candlestick Sleeves: 23” long from shoulderThis is a wonderful old lidded basket made of ash splint with curly que or porcupine twist detail, made by a Native American Indian of a Woodland tribe, perhaps Micmac, Pasamaquoddy or Penobscot but it might even be Iroquois, Im not sure. The basket is quite deep, so the cover itself is also fairly deep you could actually use this as two separate baskets should you wish to (see photos).
