SET OF FOUR WALNUT ALSACE REGION CHAIRS Seating One glass eye intactSet of four beautifully carved 19th century walnut side or dining chairs. Each chair back is carved with a shell and acanthus leaf motif to the crest. and a heart and shield with stylised flowers. They bear the carved monogram C. W and year 1762. These charming chairs are lovely examples of the traditional folk art seating of the Alsace Lorraine region of France,. Circa: 19th Century Origin: France Condition: In excellent antique condition.
