Struck at the the Chihuahua Mint (mint mark Ca). Very scarce 3 year transition type from the cap and rays real design to the decimal coinage. Unreported but very low mintage. An obvious overdate variety with 1868 7, but not cited as such by NGC. Certified by NGC to XF 40, Population Census: This coin, only 1 higher (AU58). Dark toned, very nice in hand!
